Kinikilala ng parangal ng Supplier of the Year ng GM ang mga pandaigdigang supplier na nakikilala ang kanilang sarili sa pamamagitan ng paglampas sa mga kinakailangan ng GM, na nagbibigay naman sa mga customer ng mga makabagong teknolohiya at kabilang sa pinakamataas na kalidad sa industriya ng automotive.
